Charity Manager Vacancy
£25 150 per annum for a 22.5 hour week
Would you like to make a difference to a local community? An exciting opportunity exists for a strong all-rounder to manage a small charity, Caring Altogether on Romney Marsh (CARM) based in New Romney which provides volunteer delivered services to older, lonely and isolated people living across the Romney Marsh and Tenterden areas.
Applicants must have experience of managing staff and budgets within a small to medium sized organisation or within a team in a larger organisation as well as an understanding of the needs of older people. Excellent communication skills are a must, and you will need to evidence that you have been successful with funding and grant applications for projects or services.
You will need excellent business and IT skills, be able to prioritise your work and be very organised to manage the demands of this varied role.
CARM is a well-established local charity with a reputation for delivering quality and highly valued services - the challenge will be to maintain this during these difficult financial times.
